The scholarship is €2,200 for one academic year, paid monthly. Students preparing a final thesis over two years may receive up to €4,400 in total if their study results do not deteriorate. Applications are due 27 September 2026 inclusive.
Eligibility requirements
Prospective first-year master's students from VU's Life Sciences Center, Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences, Faculty of Medicine, or Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics may apply. Selection considers bachelor thesis/exam results, a weighted major-course average of at least 7, motivation and practical research skills.
