The 2027 Career Changer track can support one, two or three years. The Ministry describes three vocational scholarships for NZQA levels 4–7 and four academic degree-and-above scholarships for NZQA levels 7–10. Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet the general Tulī requirements: full-time tertiary study or training in New Zealand, New Zealand citizenship or permanent residence, at least three years' residence in New Zealand, and indigenous Pacific cultural heritage. Career Changer applicants must also have at least 12 years of work or equivalent paid or unpaid experience since leaving school and be pursuing a qualification that supports a career change or advancement. This track can support study up to and including master's level.
