The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship is a one-year tuition contribution for high-calibre new international students. For the Semester 1 / Quarter 1–2 2027 intake, applications open 9 September 2026 and close 21 October 2026. The scholarship contributes up to NZ$10,000 toward compulsory tuition fees and up to 50 awards are available annually.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be international students and new to eligible University of Auckland study, normally holding a conditional or unconditional offer before applying. Eligible study includes full-time undergraduate degrees, postgraduate diplomas and master's programmes covered by the scholarship regulations.
