Overview
International-status students from Guinea-Bissau entering a full-time University of Coimbra master’s programme can qualify for a €2,000 scholarship toward master’s tuition under the University’s research and scientific-production incentive.
Complete scholarship details
The scholarship provides €2,000 toward master’s tuition and is awarded in each applicable academic year or semester through the normal duration of the master’s programme. Under Regulation 346/2025, this incentive does not apply to a master’s study cycle that is already financed through another funding route.
Eligibility requirements
Students must hold international-student status, enter a University of Coimbra master’s cycle and complete full-time annual enrolment. The University applies the scholarship under its institutional rules; programme-specific funding exclusions in Regulation 346/2025 must also be satisfied.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified on the University of Coimbra’s current scholarship page and Regulation 346/2025. The award is tied to qualifying master’s enrolment rather than a separate universal scholarship call, so no deadline was invented.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
