For 2026–2027, the University has designated 19 priority programmes across anthropology, sciences, languages and engineering. The scholarship is €2,000 and continues through the normal duration of the eligible study cycle while the published conditions remain satisfied. It cannot be combined with the other scholarships under the same University of Coimbra international-student scholarship regulation.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must hold international-student status, enrol full-time annually in one of the University’s designated priority first-cycle or integrated-master’s programmes and have an entry average of at least 13 out of 20 without rounding. The current 2026–2027 list includes Anthropology, Marine Biology, Bioanalytical Sciences, Education Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Naval and Ocean Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Geology, Modern Languages, Mathematics, Portuguese, Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry.
