The University of Copenhagen offers a limited number of competitive Danish Government Scholarships to academically outstanding master's applicants from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. There is no separate scholarship application: eligible applicants are automatically considered when applying for admission. Awards vary by faculty and may be full or partial tuition waivers and/or support for basic living expenses.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be citizens outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland, be admitted to a University of Copenhagen master's degree, and receive a qualifying time-limited study residence permit. Applicants with certain Danish legal rights, eligibility for Denmark's SU grant scheme, or specified residence statuses are not eligible. Scholarships are awarded on academic achievement rather than financial need, and faculty-specific selection criteria apply.
