The University of Malta is accepting applications for a three-year PhD scholarship on the archaeobotany of Maltese terraced fields, funded through the ERC-backed TerraForm Project.

The scholarship is based in the Department of Classics and Archaeology, Faculty of Arts. It provides a basic maintenance allowance of €15,000 per year for up to three years plus up to €3,000 for related publications and conferences. It does not cover annual enrolment or tuition fees or all living costs.
