Overview
The John A Lamberton Research Scholarships support eligible University of Sydney PhD researchers working on natural products and the relationship between chemical structure and biological activity.
Complete scholarship details
Up to six awards may be offered as either a primary stipend at the University of Sydney RTP annual stipend rate or a supplementary stipend of AUD 10,000 per year. The primary award is normally available for up to 12 research periods, with limited extension provisions; the supplementary award may run for up to 14 research periods.
Eligibility requirements
Full-time PhD applicant or student in an eligible Engineering, Medicine and Health or Science school; research must align with natural products and/or chemical structure-biological activity relationships; First Class Honours or a research master's is required, and applicants must have applied for the University of Sydney RTP stipend scholarship.
