The Emerging Leaders Programme (2026-2027) is a dynamic, self-paced executive development programme offered by the UONGOZI Institute in collaboration with the HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management. Designed for rising leaders, it challenges participants to build self-awareness, embrace resilience and growth, and inspire change across six comprehensive modules (Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Strategic Planning and Foresight, Responsible Leadership, Evidence-Based Decision Making, Mastering Strategic Communication, and Peer Learning Leadership).

Open to mid-level executives working across any sector and professional field.

Type:

Executive Education Programme / Professional Leadership Development Course (e-learning 85% blended with 15% face-to-face sessions)

Who can Apply?:

Mid-level executives working in any sector across Africa.

Applicants with at least one year of supervisory, managerial, or leadership experience.

Individuals with at least five years of total work experience.

Holders of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Candidates with a good command of written/spoken English and good computer skills.

Selection is based on meeting the professional experience requirements, academic qualifications, and the strength of the submitted application components (CV, employer recommendation/permission letter, and motivational statement). A limited number of merit-based scholarships are also available.

Online (e-learning) blended with face-to-face sessions through the UONGOZI Institute (Tanzania) and HAUS (Finland).
