The Vice President, Global Accounting will lead and scale a global accounting organization spanning accounting operations, consolidated financial reporting, and treasury. This executive role will shape the processes, systems, controls, and talent strategy needed to support continued growth and increasing business complexity. You will strengthen financial reporting, advance public-company readiness, and establish a robust internal control environment aligned with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX standards. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, you will modernize accounting operations through automation, AI, and process standardization. You will also partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable financial insights and support effective business decisions. This is an opportunity to transform a growing accounting function into a scalable, technology-driven organization recognized for operational excellence and strategic impact.

The Vice President, Global Accounting will oversee global accounting operations and financial reporting while driving organizational transformation, stronger governance, and public-company readiness. Key responsibilities include: Lead an organization of approximately 16 professionals across accounting operations, consolidated financial reporting, and treasury, building leadership capability, accountability, and professional development opportunities. Oversee corporate accounting activities, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, lease accounting, consolidations, and related financial operations. Direct consolidated financial reporting to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Establish and maintain accounting policies, governance frameworks, and operational procedures, including the evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards. Deliver meaningful financial information, analysis, and insights to support executive decision-making and business planning. Lead the development and implementation of a scalable Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance framework, including business-process controls, documentation, governance, and accountability. Strengthen the accounting infrastructure across financial close, consolidation, technical accounting, SEC-quality reporting, internal controls, systems, and audit readiness. Standardize and optimize global accounting processes by defining clear ownership, service levels, performance expectations, and measurable outcomes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual work, simplify workflows, accelerate financial close cycles, and improve the accuracy and accessibility of financial information. Identify and implement opportunities to leverage automation, artificial intelligence, modern financial systems, and standardized workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, control effectiveness, and reporting quality. Strengthen treasury and cash management processes, including cash visibility, liquidity management, cash positioning, and working capital optimization. Develop recommendations to support effective capital deployment, financial risk management, and liquidity planning. Build and develop a high-performing accounting organization that attracts, engages, and retains exceptional talent while establishing organizational depth and strong leadership succession. Foster collaboration across Finance and other business functions to align priorities, resolve complex issues, and execute cross-functional initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, helping shape the future of the accounting organization and ensuring its readiness for the next stage of business growth. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting executive who combines deep technical accounting knowledge with strong operational leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of transforming global finance organizations. They should be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, leading complex initiatives, and balancing long-term strategy with direct involvement in critical accounting matters. Required qualifications include: At least 15 years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated success leading and developing complex accounting organizations in global environments. Previous public-company accounting experience and a thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC financial reporting requirements, SOX compliance, and external audit requirements. Proven ability to scale accounting functions and prepare organizations to operate at public-company standards. Demonstrated success leading accounting transformation, process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong expertise across corporate accounting, general ledger operations, financial consolidation, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting governance. Experience designing and strengthening SOX frameworks, business-process controls, accounting documentation, and audit-ready processes. Familiarity with modern financial systems, workflow automation, and opportunities to apply AI and technology to accounting operations. Understanding of treasury operations, cash management, liquidity planning, working capital optimization, and financial risk management. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification required. Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, resolve escalations, navigate complex issues, and build alignment across functions. Strong organizational leadership skills, including experience developing management talent, establishing accountability, and fostering a high-performance culture. Collaborative and pragmatic leadership style, with the ability to adapt, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Strategic mindset and strong problem-solving skills, combined with a willingness to engage directly in complex technical accounting matters when necessary. Benefits: Executive-level leadership opportunity with significant influence over global accounting strategy and transformation. Opportunity to build and scale a high-performing accounting organization in a growing business.
