Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Growth based in the United States. The Vice President, Growth will lead the development and execution of a predictable, capital-efficient growth strategy for a virtual healthcare business focused on baby feeding and lactation care. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic partnership development, commercial negotiations, consumer growth, and performance management to expand access to care while delivering measurable business results. You will build executive-level relationships, secure high-value partnerships, and turn commercial agreements into referrals, completed visits, and sustainable revenue. You will also strengthen brand positioning and organic consumer acquisition through search optimization, earned media, and social engagement. Working closely with the CEO and cross-functional leaders, you will align growth initiatives with clinical capacity, operational requirements, financial performance, and patient experience. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded leader who thrives in a startup environment, combines strategic judgment with direct execution, and is motivated by improving care for parents and babies.
Own the growth strategy, channel priorities, execution plans, budgets, pipeline, forecasts, and performance reporting, ensuring initiatives support sustainable and capital-efficient revenue growth. Expand existing partnerships and secure new strategic relationships with organizations that can generate referrals and connect more families to baby feeding and lactation care. Develop and manage partnerships with complementary maternal health, women's health, baby and consumer health organizations, leveraging established audiences, trusted brands, and marketing reach. Build compelling business cases demonstrating the value of partnership opportunities, assessing referral potential, commercial economics, implementation requirements, and strategic fit. Lead the full partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, executive relationship development, negotiation, agreement closure, launch coordination, activation, performance reviews, renewals, and expansion. Create joint activation plans and improve referral workflows to turn signed agreements into predictable referral volume, completed care visits, and measurable revenue. Strengthen consumer-facing growth by refining brand positioning and leading organic discovery initiatives, including search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), earned media, established parenting and baby platforms, and social media engagement. Pursue selective expansion opportunities with obstetrician (OB) networks and providers, evaluating requests for proposals and provider or professional services agreements based on financial viability, operational fit, and preservation of the patient care pathway. Prioritize partnership-led growth while using proven acquisition economics to guide decisions about additional direct-to-consumer investment. Lead a focused internal team and external specialists or agencies, establishing clear expectations, removing barriers, and allocating resources based on demonstrated results. Collaborate with Clinical, Operations, Product, Finance, and Marketing to ensure growth commitments align with service capacity, operational readiness, and quality of care. Establish performance benchmarks and monitor referral volume, completed visits, conversion rates, acquisition costs, channel contribution, revenue, contribution margin, retention, and forecast accuracy. Within the first 90 days, assess the existing pipeline, partner performance, and patient acquisition journey; establish a growth baseline; and develop a prioritized plan with clear owners, milestones, channel economics, and forecasts. Within the first six months, implement partner activation and expansion plans, advance new partnership opportunities, and execute measurable brand, organic search, earned media, and social growth initiatives. Maintain accountability for commercial outcomes while protecting patient trust, clinical quality, provider relationships, and the overall care experience. Requirements: Demonstrated success growing a healthcare, virtual care, or consumer health business through strategic partnerships. Proven ownership of sourcing, negotiating, closing, activating, and expanding complex commercial agreements. A track record of converting signed partnerships into measurable patient acquisition and revenue, supported by clear and substantiated results. Experience with business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) growth models and a strong understanding of consumer acquisition. Ability to evaluate acquisition costs, conversion rates, retention, contribution margin, and channel economics to make informed investment decisions. Experience leading brand development and organic growth initiatives directly or through internal specialists, agencies, or external partners. Strong executive relationship-building, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to align clinical, operational, product, finance, and marketing teams around shared commercial objectives. Startup experience or demonstrated ability to deliver results with a small team, limited resources, and evolving priorities. Strategic judgment paired with a hands-on approach, strong ownership, practical problem-solving, and consistent follow-through. Ability to communicate clearly across a distributed team, provide and receive direct feedback, identify obstacles early, and propose solutions. A collaborative, curious, and adaptable mindset, with a commitment to integrity, sound judgment, and responsible handling of patient and provider information. Alignment with a culture that values ownership, doing what is right, trusting the team, and continuous learning. Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. Preferred: Experience or established relationships in women's health, virtual care, maternal health, baby feeding, or consumer brands serving parents and families. Preferred: Experience working with OB networks and negotiating provider or professional services agreements. Preferred: Experience activating referral partnerships, co-marketing programs, or integrated care partnerships. Preferred: Familiarity with SEO/AEO, earned media, and social media strategies in healthcare or consumer health. Preferred: Experience growing an insurance-covered virtual care offering. Benefits: Salary: $200,000. Incentive compensation and equity. Paid time off and holidays. Retirement benefits. Remote work arrangements. Direct collaboration with the CEO and leadership team on strategic partnerships, brand positioning, growth priorities, and investment decisions. Significant ownership of the growth strategy, with room to build and scale programs. Opportunity to contribute to a developing healthcare category and improve access to care for parents and babies.
