Financial oversight and performance analysis: Monitor franchisee financial and operational health through budgets, business plans, profit and loss statements, performance indicators, and operating reports. Identify risks and opportunities and recommend practical solutions. Reporting, training, and communication: Establish effective reporting, benchmarking, communication, and training practices that provide franchise owners and leadership with actionable business insights. Cross-functional collaboration and compliance: Work with Legal, Compliance, Training, Marketing, and other departments to support franchise agreements, regulatory requirements, documentation, receivables, regional meetings, onboarding, and brand events. Vendor and service development: Evaluate new service offerings, products, and vendor opportunities while maintaining productive partnerships that support business growth and franchise success. Continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement: Manage complex initiatives, resolve operational challenges, strengthen collaboration across the organization, and perform additional responsibilities as business needs evolve. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Professional experience: At least 10 years of experience in operations, franchise operations, multi-unit management, field leadership, or a related discipline. Leadership expertise: Demonstrated success leading and developing teams that support franchise owners, business owners, or geographically dispersed operating locations. Financial and analytical skills: Strong experience managing budgets, profit and loss statements, financial reports, key performance indicators, and business plans, with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions. Strategic execution: Proven ability to develop and implement operating strategies, policies, systems, and processes across a distributed organization. Communication and relationship management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build trusted relationships, and collaborate effectively across a complex, matrixed environment. Project and organizational management: Strong planning, prioritization, and project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple complex initiatives through successful execution. Problem-solving and interpersonal skills: Ability to resolve conflicts objectively, respond constructively to feedback, manage competing priorities, and maintain a collaborative, results-oriented approach. Professional judgment: Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Technical proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, or comparable business productivity tools. Travel flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% for franchise visits, business meetings, conferences, and company events. Preferred qualifications: Experience working within a franchise system or multi-unit service organization. Background in HVAC, home services, or another service-based industry. Familiarity with franchise agreements, Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs), and franchise compliance requirements. Experience managing field-based teams, including Franchise Business Coaches or similar operational support professionals. Benefits Competitive compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance incentives: Eligibility for bonus and equity opportunities.
