Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Strategy based in the United States. The Vice President, Strategy will lead enterprise business strategy, customer experience (CX) transformation, and AI-driven innovation for major brands and global organizations. This senior leadership role combines commercial strategy, financial analysis, digital transformation, and product innovation to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will advise C-suite executives, translate complex market and customer insights into actionable growth strategies, and identify opportunities to create lasting enterprise value. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will guide initiatives from strategic discovery and business case development through product launch and large-scale implementation. You will also help shape new business opportunities, strengthen client partnerships, and develop high-performing strategy teams. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, design, and AI-enabled transformation.

Business Strategy and Transformation Develop three- to five-year corporate growth strategies, prioritize strategic initiatives, and build multi-year business transformation roadmaps. Create financial models, ROI analyses, customer value assessments, and value-realization frameworks to evaluate and justify major digital and product investments. Advise senior executives on complex business challenges, conduct current-state assessments, and demonstrate the measurable economic impact of strategic recommendations. Define future-state organizational structures, capability frameworks, and governance models that support successful business transformation. Product Innovation, Customer Experience, and AI Identify high-value AI use cases across enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, and data platforms, as well as customer-facing digital experiences. Translate emerging AI trends and technology capabilities into practical business opportunities, compelling value propositions, and scalable solutions. Shape new product propositions, digital services, and revenue models using market research, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and technology assessments. Lead cross-functional teams spanning product management, business analytics, design, and engineering throughout strategy development, prototyping, product delivery, launch, and scaling. Synthesize macroeconomic trends, market intelligence, and customer behavior data into strategic briefs that align executive stakeholders and guide creative and technical teams. Business Development and Practice Leadership Collaborate with client services teams to identify growth opportunities within major accounts and develop compelling, data-driven business cases. Lead strategic positioning and differentiation for major pitches, requests for proposals, and consulting engagements. Serve as a hands-on strategic leader and coach, supporting teams in rigorous analysis, high-quality deliverables, and effective client engagement. Strengthen strategic capabilities and bridge business priorities with design, engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure recommendations are commercially sound and operationally achievable. Evaluate enterprise architecture, API ecosystems, data flows, and system integration requirements to support effective AI adoption and automation at scale. Requirements: 15+ years of experience in business strategy and leadership, ideally within a leading product or services innovation agency, management consulting firm, or corporate strategy organization. Proven track record leading enterprise growth initiatives, market-entry strategies, customer experience transformation, and multi-year digital transformation programs. Strong expertise in financial modeling, revenue projections, market sizing, cost optimization, profit-and-loss drivers, and business case development. Demonstrated ability to build value-realization frameworks and quantify the expected business impact of major strategic investments. Experience taking digital products, services, or new business ventures from initial discovery and strategic planning through economic modeling, design, market launch, and scaling. Hands-on experience or strategic oversight of enterprise system integrations that enable AI solutions, automation, and connected digital ecosystems. Strong understanding of enterprise technology architecture, API ecosystems, data infrastructure, and the practical considerations involved in deploying AI capabilities. Extensive experience presenting to and advising C-suite executives, board members, and senior client stakeholders. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and market data into clear, persuasive executive narratives. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, influence stakeholders, coach strategy professionals, and connect business objectives with technical and creative execution. A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in business or economics is preferred. Must be able to work remotely within the United States. This role is not currently available to candidates working in or based in New Mexico or Hawaii. Benefits: Salary: Annual compensation range of $180,000–$230,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, specialization, budget, and location. Work arrangement: Remote work within the United States, subject to geographic eligibility restrictions. Inclusive workplace: Commitment to an inclusive, equitable, and accessible employee experience, with accommodations available throughout the recruitment process. Equal opportunity: An employment environment that values diversity and supports fair, barrier-free recruitment and selection.
