Trading and execution excellence: Oversee trading execution, best execution practices, portfolio implementation, rebalancing, and related workflows. Evaluate trading technologies, automation opportunities, and vendor relationships to improve performance and scalability. Investment operations management: Lead portfolio accounting, reconciliation, investment operations, performance reporting, account administration, and related operational processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery across client accounts. Billing modernization: Oversee advisory fee billing processes, strengthen controls and transparency, and improve billing accuracy, collection timeliness, and operational efficiency. Technology and platform development: Partner with investment and technology leaders to enhance the investment platform, optimize systems, and align operational capabilities with business priorities and the integrated family office model. Client and advisor partnership: Build strong working relationships with advisors, client service teams, portfolio management, Portfolio Consulting, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Partner Success, and other internal stakeholders to ensure operational support meets business and client needs. Issue resolution and escalation: Serve as the senior escalation point for complex operational and client-impacting issues, ensuring timely communication, effective resolution, and sustainable corrective actions. Organizational leadership and talent development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of more than 60 professionals across Trading, Operations, and Billing. Establish career pathways, succession plans, and leadership development initiatives to strengthen long-term organizational capability. Culture and accountability: Foster a high-performance culture built on collaboration, ownership, continuous learning, innovation, and a strong commitment to client outcomes. Strategic collaboration: Represent Investment Platform Operations in firm-wide initiatives, integrations, and transformation projects, ensuring that operational decisions support enterprise objectives and deliver measurable improvements to client and advisor experiences. Requirements: 10+ years of progressive professional experience in investment operations, trading, wealth management, or investment management platforms. Demonstrated experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to develop senior professionals, build future leaders, and manage complex operational functions. Deep knowledge of trading operations, investment platform administration, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, and advisory fee billing within a registered investment adviser (RIA) or institutional investment management environment. Strong understanding of fiduciary standards, regulatory compliance, operational controls, governance frameworks, and investment-related risk management. Proven success driving operational transformation, process redesign, automation, and scalable operating models within a growing or complex organization. Experience establishing operational KPIs, performance dashboards, and measurement frameworks to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement. Familiarity with trading systems, portfolio implementation, rebalancing workflows, technology optimization, and vendor management. Strong strategic thinking and business judgment, with the ability to translate enterprise objectives into practical operational priorities and measurable results.
