Full job description
The officer provides technical, operational and administrative support for WASH programme development, planning, monitoring and delivery; humanitarian preparedness and response; partnerships; innovation; knowledge management; and capacity building, with a focus on climate resilience and disaster-risk reduction.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in public health, social services, environmental, sanitary or civil engineering, behavioral science, disaster management, international development, health communication, humanitarian studies or a related field; at least one year of relevant experience in UN, emergency, WASH, hygiene, disaster-risk reduction, climate resilience, anticipatory action, humanitarian response or programme management; and fluency in English and Portuguese.
