You'll learn this craft hands-on, working closely with our Executive Recruiter to track down candidates for some of SumUp's most important hires, often before they're even looking for a new role. It's a structured, supported way into Executive Recruiting and broader Talent Acquisition, built for someone who's curious about what makes a person the right fit for SumUp and a great leader. What you'll do Research and map candidates for senior and strategic leadership roles using LinkedIn, our internal database and other sources. Shadow the Executive Recruiter on live searches to see firsthand what makes a strong leadership candidate. Keep candidate records accurate and up to date. Share clear, structured updates on search progress during weekly check-ins with hiring teams. Help test new sourcing channels and ideas alongside the Executive Recruiting team. You'll be great for this role if… Genuine curiosity about people and what makes someone the right fit for a role, shown through previous jobs, research projects, coursework, volunteer work, or self-directed learning. Persistence and attention to detail, with a track record of keeping structured, accurate records. Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks in a professional or academic setting. Openness to feedback and comfort picking up new tools and ways of working quickly. Any prior exposure to sourcing or CRM tools is a bonus, not a requirement. Full training will be provided.
