Private Chef / Cook – Multi-Cuisine Vegetarian Specialist

Location: Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time (Live-Out preferred; Live-In may be considered for the right candidate)

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and passionate Private Chef / Cook to join a distinguished private household/Mansion in Palm Jumeirah. This is an opportunity for a culinary professional who takes pride in creating outstanding vegetarian cuisine using the finest ingredients while maintaining impeccable hygiene and kitchen standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting nutritious, restaurant-quality meals for the family and guests, with creativity, consistency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages daily.
• Design diverse weekly and seasonal vegetarian menus.
• Prepare authentic and contemporary dishes across multiple cuisines.
• Cater for family gatherings, private dinners, and special occasions.
• Maintain exceptional food presentation and plating standards.
• Manage ingredient sourcing, inventory, and stock rotation.
• Ensure the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas remain spotless and organized.
• Follow the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
• Accommodate dietary preferences, allergies, and nutritional requirements.
• Minimize food waste through efficient planning and preparation.
• Coordinate with household staff to ensure seamless meal service.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a private chef, executive chef, or chef in luxury residences, boutique hotels, or fine dining restaurants.
• Proven expertise in high-quality vegetarian cooking.
• Passion for innovation while respecting authentic flavours.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Calm, professional, and discreet personality.
• Excellent personal hygiene and grooming.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and special events.
• Fluent English preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional culinary qualification or hospitality degree.
• HACCP or Food Safety Certification.
• Experience working in VIP households.
• Knowledge of nutrition and healthy meal planning.
