AWS-2026 is scheduled for 21–23 September 2026 at the Adwa Victory Memorial Hall in Addis Ababa. General conference registration remains available, including onsite registration. Current standard registration tiers vary by participant category; the official registration page lists US$250 regular, US$50 student, US$50 LDC participant, ETB 1,400 Ethiopian participant and ETB 700 Ethiopian student, with separate accompanying-person and optional excursion prices.

Open to researchers, policymakers, practitioners, students and other water-security stakeholders. Student registration requires proof of status. Limited scholarships are separately stated for eligible Ethiopian student presenting authors.
