We are hiring a Business Development Lead to build AIRMO's commercial pipeline across the GCC, Egypt, Iraq and Jordan. You will own lead sourcing and pipeline creation, advance deals from first contact to proposal, and work directly with our Managing Director, who closes alongside you. This is a hands-on role for someone who can open doors in the region and turn tightening methane regulation into signed contracts across our product line — satellite and aerial methane monitoring and our Global Insights data. It starts as a contract and converts to a full-time role with our Abu Dhabi entity on performance.

What you'll do

• Source and qualify leads across oil and gas, energy, heavy industry and waste operators, plus relevant government and regulatory buyers.
• Build and run the regional pipeline: map accounts, reach decision-makers, and keep the CRM current.
• Move deals from first meeting through technical demos to proposal and negotiation.
• Write proposals and commercial offers with the technical team.
• Build relationships with regional NGOs and environmental organizations where they open doors to measurement work.
• Represent AIRMO at industry events and run client missions across the region.
• Track tenders, regulation and competitor moves, and feed them back into strategy.

Territory

The GCC, Egypt, Iraq and Jordan, based on-site in Abu Dhabi, with regular travel across the region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Egypt).

What you bring

• Five or more years in business development or commercial roles, ideally in energy, industry or climate technology.
• A working network among regional energy, industrial or government buyers, or a clear track record of building one quickly.
• Fluent English. Arabic is a strong plus but not a requirement.
• The drive to own a pipeline end to end and work independently.
• Willingness to travel across the region for client missions.

Nice to have

• Background in methane, emissions monitoring, MMRV or environmental compliance (OGMP 2.0, LDAR).
• Experience selling technical or data products to industry or government buyers.

Compensation and terms

• AED 13,000–17,000 per month, plus a performance bonus.
• Contract to start, with a path to a full-time role at our Abu Dhabi (ADGM) entity on performance.
• Based on-site in Abu Dhabi.
