Full job description

• Quality Strategy: Define and implement the project-specific overall quality assurance plan for the global Power Electronics platform called CMB (common modular base), ensuring modules meet global requirements for seamless integration into customer projects worldwide.
• Proactive, Cross-Domain Quality Assurance: Implement preventive quality measures in the early development project phases across all domains (System, Hardware, Software, Mechanics) to ensure the foundational quality and maturity of the platform. Quality gates and sample releases moderation.
• Bridge Builder for Quality: Act as project quality interface between global development teams, joint-venture partner, ensuring alignment and a consistent quality approach in the project. First-level support for method and process questions in the projects.
• Take Ownership: Actively participate in project steering to ensure product quality.
• Risk Assessment & Quality Reporting: Consolidate risk-related information to assess the maturity, technical feasibility and global applicability of CMB concepts and modules. Provide transparent and independent reporting to support management decision-making and timely escalation of quality risks.
• Maturity & Quality Assurance: Actively introduce quality-relevant aspects into the development and specification teams to ensure that technical solutions are handed over to global customer projects with the highest level of maturity and built-in quality.

Qualifications and requirements

• Education: Successfully completed university degree in engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable field.
• Experience: Professional experience in automotive development, ideally with a strong focus on quality management in the context of platform or systems engineering. Experience in hardware or systems development is a significant advantage.
• Platform & Product Understanding: Strong technical understanding of the entire development lifecycle for automotive power electronics is a significant advantage.
• Know-How: Proficient in the practical application of quality methods and standards (e.g., ASPICE, IATF 16949) and applied problem-solving (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
• Personality: Enthusiastic, assertive and results-oriented, with a strategic mindset. Strong team-player skills and a confident command of presentation and moderation techniques.
• Working Style: Structured and cross-functional approach, with proven experience working effectively across different national and corporate cultures.
• Languages: Mandatory fluency in both Mandarin and English is required to bridge our development teams and partners. German is a significant advantage.
