About The Role

As a Trading Engineer, you are one of the most important players in our growing team. Developing and programming is something you absolutely love and we provide the perfect place to do it. You are a senior/medior developer with all the skills needed to continuously improve our platform and a strong focus on finance who has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

This job differs from other software development jobs as we offer a job in one of the most challenging, growing and promising markets in the world. We strive to come up with the most diverse and energetic ideas.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and scale the backend of our trading platform

• Implementing new trading strategies in collaboration with the traders

• Integrating and connecting third-party APIs

• Operationally supporting traders

What you bring:

• You have a MSc degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Econometrics
• 4+ years of experience, of which at least 2 years of experience with Rust
• Experience in building high throughput, low latency software applications
• Understanding of networking protocols: TCP/UDP
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Deployment using CI/CD tools
• A strong ownership and problem solving mindset

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with concurrent programming and distributed systems
• Familiarity with Typescript and Node.js
• A basic understanding of the linux kernel and its constraints
• System level and compiler optimization techniques
• Knowledge of FIX protocol
