Department of National Defence and SSHRC Opportunities

Applicants apply through the CGRS D program, select the MINDS Scholarship Initiative and provide a one-page justification linking their proposed research to one or more MINDS Policy Challenges.

Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, be eligible for CGRS D and work in a MINDS Policy Challenge area. Most Government of Canada employees and Canadian Armed Forces members are ineligible, except CAF Class A Reservists. Institution-routed applications may have earlier internal deadlines.
