Educational Student Loan Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Opportunities

The Educational Student Loan Fund opened applications for the fall semester of the 2026–2027 academic year from 3 August 2026. Social and standard education student loans are available to eligible students. The Fund states annual rates of 2% for social loans and 6% for standard loans, with a 0% concession possible when the academic-performance conditions for that concession are met. Newly admitted bachelor's, secondary-specialized and vocational students for 2026–2027 can apply after their relevant admission/registration stage; the Fund announced that newly admitted bachelor's applicants can begin the loan process from 28 August 2026. Citizens of Azerbaijan studying full-time on a tuition-paying basis within the normative study period at eligible state or private institutions may apply. The Fund covers bachelor's education including basic higher medical education, master's education including residency, secondary-specialized education, and technical or higher-technical vocational education. Applicants generally must have no academic debt from the preceding semester. For first-semester standard loans, the Fund lists minimum admission indicators by education level; social-loan applicants are not subject to those minimum admission-score thresholds.
