Fundación Bolar Opportunities

Fundación Bolar supports selected undergraduate programmes in technical engineering, communication and journalism, audiovisual or strategic communication, psychology and legal sciences. The foundation states that awards are individualized and can cover 30% to 100% of degree costs, while teaching materials and extracurricular courses are excluded. Recipients must maintain the scholarship conditions and carry out a community-impact project during their degree.

The scholarships are exclusively for women residing in Guatemala who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. Applicants need an average above 85 points in diversificado and must maintain that level at university. The application materials include recent academic records, a personal essay, socioeconomic study, admission evidence and, for active university students, current grades and a faculty recommendation.
