Clinical Team LeaderSouth Taranaki Community Mental Health Team - AdultsHawera Hospital, Hawera1.0 FTE (80 hours per fortnight)Permanent PositionHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleWe are seeking an inspirational Clinical Team Leader with strong mental health & addictions leadership experience to manage our South Community Mental Health team within the Mental Health & Addiction Services.Please click here to view the position descriptionAbout the Team/Service/ LocationAs Clinical Team Leader you are principally responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of mental health practitioners to deliver comprehensive care for adults (18-64+) experiencing mental health challenges. Your duties include providing clinical leadership and supervision, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based treatment, facilitating assessments and intervention planning, and overseeing service delivery to support the mental health and well-being of vulnerable adults. For more information on living and working in Taranaki click hereAbout youSuccessful candidates will be:Health practitioner with current APCs and scope of practice to enable working in mental health and addiction services (Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, Social Worker, etc);5+ years experience in community based mental health &/or addiction services with excellent mental health knowledge and impeccable practice standards; Demonstrate a motivational leadership style and be able to build a cohesive team and facilitate service development;Ability to work under pressure, be a good team player, demonstrate leadership skills and positively contribute to service delivery;Adept at developing strong working relationships both within specialist Mental Health & Addiction Services as well as Iwi, NGO and primary stakeholders;Excellent interpersonal skills is a must as well as a commitment to continuous learning, is innovative and whai ora/whanau focused.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
