The programme covers full tuition and renews each year when the scholar maintains the required GPA. Eligible institutions include public or state-owned universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and specialised institutions. Applicants may register with personal details and a passport photograph, then upload O'Level and JAMB results before the deadline. Shortlisted candidates proceed to a computer-based test and successful candidates to physical verification. The official application is free.

Applicants must be Nigerian students entering tertiary education in 2026/2027, have admission to a public or state-owned eligible institution, and provide WAEC/NECO and JAMB results by the deadline. Registration must be completed by 30 September 2026.
