As a Studio Manager within a Lucid Sales Studio, your primary responsibility will be to directly manage, coach, develop and support a sales team with the successful articulation and delivery of the Lucid brand and ownership experience. This role will report directly to the Market Leader to lead the studio team and processes that enable the studio to achieve their sales targets.

This new location reflects our continued investment in delivering a world-class customer experience and expanding Lucid’s presence throughout Southern California. We are building a talented team of sales professionals who are passionate about creating exceptional customer journeys, fostering meaningful relationships, and accelerating the adoption of sustainable transportation. BUSINESS HEALTH

· Coach and motivate the sales team to meet sales, test drives, delivery, and productivity goals

· Demonstrate sales leadership by role-playing and having an active presence in customer-facing locations

· Train and develop team on sales, financing and delivery processes

· Analyze data to determine optimal business strategies

· Set individual goals for your team, ensuring processes and routines are conducive to building pipeline and creating owners in order to reach studio goals

· Ensure the team is fluent in all aspects of Lucid product knowledge and relevant automotive industry offerings, and competitive landscape

· Drive for excellence in all areas of business focused on reaching expectations for the respective location

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

· Provide targeted coaching, skill development for Sales Specialists and Brand Ambassadors to excel in performance metrics with weekly one-on one meetings

· Recruitment, training and development of a high performing and customer focused team, ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner

· Provide leadership, direction and coach all members of the Sales Team to ensure a seamless experience for customers and all members of the Lucid community.

· Develop inclusive, diverse, and high performing teams through defining efficient processes and developing the sales team through teaching moments.

· Sets sales goals, timelines, and target lists for Sales Specialists and tracks results to ensure timely execution on lead generation and/or market Initiatives.

· Demonstrates a confidence in operations and planning all aspects of the business including developing monthly sales attainment plans and communication of results to team.

· Manages leads, appointments, reservations and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company initiatives and engaging team through effective coaching, performance management and training.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

· Responsible for ensuring all employees provide best-in-class experience in every interaction on the studio floor, in test drives, and through actively following up on leads

· Empower and guide employees through challenging customer concerns, to make decisions in the customers’ best interest while also supporting Lucid’s mission

· Also acts as a Senior Sales Advisor, handling high-potential customers

· Clientele management for VIP customers

· Your hands-on leadership will assist in coaching and training your sales team to deliver an exceptional experience that touches both the heart and mind of the customer.

STUDIO OPERATIONS

· Own the operations within the studio to ensure the customer journey is frictionless and seamless from reservation through to delivery.

· Supervise merchandising product inventory and display

· Manage and coordinate Studio team scheduling.

· Partner with Retail Operations and coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed

· Ensure facility maintenance and showroom presentation adhere to the brand standards

· Thrives in a fast-paced environment where innovation is inevitable, and change is expected.

· Assist with daily operations as needed

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of store management experience in retail, luxury or hospitality.

· Automotive sales management experience preferred

· A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or related discipline.

· Experience with leading a team of sales focused professionals that can deliver an achievement of their targets.

· Experience making data driven decisions and holding team accountable to KPI’s

· Extensive experience and ability to lead a team that fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment.

· Acts with urgency and champions excellence in all company objectives.

· Proficient in English with a secondary language skill set being a plus.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office products, CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce) and retail business systems.

· Demonstrates a passion for electric vehicles and premium vehicle markets.

· Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment

· Ability to obtain appropriate state DMV licensing, where applicable

· Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire

· Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.

The Role

 Customer Facing:

Manage a pipeline of assigned deliveries through regular communication with Sales Specialist to align on delivery readiness 

Conduct pre-delivery conversations with customers to confirm delivery details and set clear expectations

Guide customer through the key features and functions of their Lucid vehicle and tailoring the experience to their needs, whether at a delivery center, virtually, or an offsite location

Conduct post-delivery conversations with customers to address any questions which may arise after the day of delivery

Manage a pipeline of lease-end customers to schedule grounding of their vehicle upon lease maturation, scheduling appointments to ensure timely return of vehicles

Conduct lease-end vehicle intake appointments

Represent Lucid by articulating our technological, design, and quality advantages over competitors to benefit the customer’s purchasing decision 

Utilize Salesforce to document essential details such as inbound/outbound activity, information during the delivery ceremony, and delivery specifications 

Show a commitment to refining and adapting your approach to continuously enhance the customer experience, using feedback and customer delivery outcomes as guideposts 

Operational:

Manage vehicle readiness for all customer deliveries in your pipeline, including final quality check prior to vehicle handoff

Prep and stage vehicles in delivery area prior to customer appointments

Accurately complete required paperwork and collect necessary documents to finalize delivery or complete grounding of a lease return

Book and track final mile transport as necessary, coordinating with the customer and carrier

Assist with daily operations as needed  

Qualifications:  

2-5 years of customer facing professional experience. 

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to relentlessly prioritize and problem solve  

Comfortable navigating ambiguity 

Experience in a luxury retail or hospitality environment preferred.  

Comfort with using Salesforce or equivalent CRM system.  

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or related discipline.  

Ability to engage with all customers and members of the Lucid community in an authentic and courteous manner. 

Demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for Lucid products and technological advances.   

Ability to gauge customer's requirements and interests to deliver a personalized and relevant interaction. 

Possesses strong relating skills including strong oral and written communication, empathy, and active listening ability. 

Ability to continually refine and adjust engagement approach to improve customer experiences through feedback and review of customer delivery outcomes. 

Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks independently that places the delivery experience at the center of their decision making.  

Takes ownership and responsibility for studio assets, including high-value Lucid customer vehicles. 

Demonstrates a passion for electric vehicles and premium vehicle markets. 

Is responsible for introducing our customers to their vehicle and creating a memorable orientation experience. 

Manages and overcomes customer feedback in a cordial and calm manner.  

Acts with urgency and champions excellence in all company objectives. 

Available to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as needed.

Deliveries may occur both in Lucid facilities or at a remote location, so both local and overnight travel will be required on occasion

Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. 

$95,000-$118,000

Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
