Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships Opportunities

The official Manaaki Thematic Short Term Training Scholarships portal lists Renewable Energy for Latin America and the Caribbean as an in-New-Zealand programme running 9 February–8 March 2027. Applications close 4 October 2026. The programme is designed for mid-level professionals and is part of New Zealand's development-focused short-course scholarship portfolio. Ecuador's MINEDEC/SIAU page independently lists the same closing date and routes applicants to the Manaaki programme.

Applicants must be citizens of one of the eligible Latin American and Caribbean countries listed by Manaaki, including Ecuador. They should be mid-level professionals with at least five years of relevant work experience, have intermediate English proficiency, and have basic computer literacy and numeracy skills. The Ecuador page additionally states applicants must be at least 18, have current employer endorsement and meet the programme's residence and scholarship-history conditions.
