Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry Opportunities

The fellow will develop graph-learning algorithms, revisit classical graph problems using modern machine learning and contribute to next-generation generative graph models, with applications to large-scale experimental biology datasets. The initial appointment is two years with possible extension; the expected start is between December 2026 and June 2027.

Applicants must hold a PhD in computer science, machine learning, bioinformatics or a related field, with strong interest and experience developing machine-learning methods. Graph-based or geometric deep-learning experience is preferred, and strong written and spoken English is required.
