You will be part of the Growth team, responsible for driving consumer acquisition, activation, and retention at scale across one of India’s largest and most diverse e-commerce audiences. The team owns the full-funnel consumer growth charter — from bringing new users onto the platform, to converting and activating them, to building habits that drive long-term retention. Operating in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment, the team combines structured problem-solving with rapid execution and manages a large, complex media budget across performance marketing channels to unlock consumer growth at scale.

We are looking for a Manager – Performance Marketing to join our Growth team and take ownership of consumer acquisition, activation, and retention through performance marketing. This is a consumer acquisition mandate (not seller/supply-side) — you will own paid growth across Meta, Google, and emerging platforms, manage a media budget upwards of ₹500 Cr+, and lead a team of performance marketers. Beyond deep, hands-on channel expertise, we're looking for someone with a strong growth mindset — who can look around corners, stay ahead of new ad-tech trends and platforms, and translate ambiguous problem statements into innovative, scalable solutions.

Consumer Acquisition & Channel Ownership Own and scale consumer acquisition, activation, and retention across performance marketing channels (Meta, Google, and emerging/new-age platforms) at scale Manage a media budget of ₹500 Cr+, driving efficient allocation across channels to maximize incremental consumer growth Drive high-quality user acquisition with a sharp focus on downstream activation, engagement, and retention Optimize campaigns for cost-efficient acquisition (CAC) while protecting user quality and long-term value (LTV) Continuously evaluate and pilot new and emerging ad platforms, formats, and technologies to unlock incremental growth ahead of the curve Funnel Optimization (Acquisition → Activation → Retention) Improve consumer funnel metrics such as install/sign-up → first order → repeat purchase Identify and reduce drop-offs across the acquisition and activation journey Work closely with product, lifecycle/CRM, and category teams to improve conversion and long-term retention Team Leadership Build, lead, and mentor a team of performance marketers, setting a high bar for execution and analytical rigour Drive goal-setting, performance reviews, and capability development for the team Partner with senior leadership to shape the consumer growth charter and long-term channel strategy Experimentation & Growth Run structured experiments across audiences, creatives, landing pages, and funnel interventions Identify new growth levers such as regional expansion, category-specific acquisition, and vernacular targeting Test and scale new channels, formats, and campaign strategies, bringing an innovative, first-principles approach to problem-solving Performance & Efficiency Management Monitor and optimize key metrics such as CAC, activation rate, retention, payback period, LTV/CAC, ROAS, CVR, CTR, CPM Manage budget allocation across channels to maximize incremental consumer growth at scale Track and mitigate issues like audience saturation, creative fatigue, and declining marginal returns Insights & Analytics Analyze consumer cohorts by geography, category, and lifecycle stage Derive insights on consumer behaviour to improve targeting, messaging, and channel-mix decisions Build and refine frameworks for incrementality and attribution for consumer acquisition Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with product, analytics, design, and category teams to align growth efforts Influence onboarding experience, landing pages, and communication strategy based on performance insights

6+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong track record in consumer internet, e-commerce, or large fintech companies in growth roles Proven experience managing large-scale media budgets (₹100 Cr+) across Meta Ads & Google Ads, with deep, hands-on channel expertise Team management experience — having built, led, or mentored a team of performance marketers Strong awareness of emerging trends and platforms in performance marketing/ad-tech, beyond core Meta & Google expertise, with the ability to evaluate and adopt new opportunities early A strong growth mindset — able to go beyond subject-matter expertise to independently identify problem statements and drive innovative, structured solutions Solid understanding of incrementality frameworks and key growth/performance metrics such as CPM, CTR, hook rate, CAC, LTV, reach, frequency, and attribution models Hands-on experience with consumer acquisition, activation, and retention funnels at scale (not seller/supply-side acquisition) Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; working knowledge of SQL or analytics tools is a plus Strong analytical thinking with a structured, problem-first approach and a bias for action Ability to operate with high ownership in a fast-paced environment Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally
