LRP Contract kime14 Mon, 08/10/2026 - 09:19 The NIH Loan Repayment Program (LRP) Contract is the binding agreement signed between an LRP applicant and the NIH Director (or designee) upon acceptance into one of the NIH’s Loan Repayment Programs. It formalizes the participant’s service and research obligations in exchange for NIH’s repayment of up to $50,000 annually in qualified educational debt, in accordance with the requirements set out in 42 CFR Part 68 – National Institutes of Health (NIH) Loan Repayment Programs (LRPs) .
