Position Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Python, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our core backend systems. You will work closely with our product development team to build scalable and efficient solutions that support our rapidly growing user base. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in Python and software engineering to create impactful products that are loved by golfers around the globe. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and scalable backend systems using Python. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and front-end developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team. Implement and optimize data storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the application. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our products and processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python. Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems. Proficiency in working with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Strong understanding of database design and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the sports or fitness technology industry.
