The Role We are looking for an entrepreneurial Inside Sales Solutions Architect to join our Northern Europe team. In this role, you will work closely with the Inside Sales Account Executive to support the full sales cycle for commercial and corporate customers across Northern Europe. You will be the technical partner to the Account Executive, helping prospects understand how Rescale can solve their engineering, simulation, HPC, and AI challenges. You will contribute from the earliest stages of an opportunity—supporting lead qualification and technical discovery—through solution development, demonstrations, technical validation, proposals, negotiations, and close. You will help ensure that each opportunity has a clear technical value proposition, a credible path to success, and a well-managed handoff after the deal is completed. Our HPC and AI Solution Portfolio You will help customers understand how Rescale’s portfolio can support the evolution of their engineering and R&D organizations—from scalable compute foundations to AI-driven engineering workflows. You will build the technical and commercial fluency to identify customer needs, recommend the right solution path, and demonstrate how customers can expand their use of Rescale over time:

• HPC Foundations: Help customers access, manage, and scale the high-performance computing infrastructure required for demanding engineering and scientific workloads.
• Advanced Modeling & Simulation: Support engineering teams running sophisticated simulation and modeling workflows across disciplines, applications, and distributed environments.
• Agentic Engineering: Introduce intelligent, software-driven workflows that help engineering teams automate activities, connect tools and data, and accelerate the path from engineering question to result.
• AI Physics: Help customers explore AI-enabled approaches that combine physics, simulation, and machine learning to improve engineering speed, insight, and decision-making. You will help customers identify the right starting point, validate technical fit, create value quickly, and understand how they can progress from foundational HPC into higher-value modeling, agentic, and AI-powered engineering capabilities. What You Will Do
• Partner closely with the Inside Sales Account Executive to qualify opportunities, understand customer requirements, and define the technical approach for each opportunity.
• Support inbound and outbound opportunities by contributing technical insight to prospect research, discovery planning, cold-call preparation, and account strategies.
• Lead or support technical discovery conversations with engineers, researchers, IT specialists, R&D leaders, and other technical stakeholders.
• Translate customer challenges, workflows, applications, infrastructure requirements, and business objectives into clear Rescale solution recommendations.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, workshops, and solution overviews tailored to different audiences.
• Explain the value of Rescale’s HPC, modeling and simulation, agentic engineering, and AI physics capabilities in practical customer terms.
• Design and document solution approaches, technical architectures, success criteria, and validation plans for qualified opportunities.
• Support proofs of concept, evaluations, pilots, and technical validation activities, coordinating stakeholders and maintaining clear next steps.
• Work with the Account Executive to identify risks, remove technical blockers, strengthen the business case, and progress opportunities toward close.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, partners, and other internal teams to answer technical questions and deliver a consistent customer experience.
• Ensure that technical requirements, proposed solutions, assumptions, success criteria, and customer commitments are accurately documented in Salesforce and other internal systems.
• Support accurate deal processing by providing complete technical information for proposals, order workflows, implementation planning, and internal handoffs.
• Contribute to opportunity reviews and forecasting by providing an accurate view of technical qualification, validation status, risks, next steps, and expected timing.
• Support the Account Executive during negotiations and close by helping customers and internal stakeholders resolve final technical questions.
• Participate in post-sale handoffs to Customer Success and other delivery teams, ensuring that the agreed solution, use cases, and success criteria are clearly communicated.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Northern Europe and the UK, and contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented sales culture. Success Measures

• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, evaluations, and proofs of concept that clearly connect Rescale capabilities to customer outcomes.
• Help the Account Executive progress opportunities efficiently and reduce technical risk before close.
• Maintain accurate technical qualification, opportunity, solution, and activity information in Salesforce and other internal systems.
• Provide clear visibility into technical status, risks, dependencies, next steps, and expected timing.
• Create smooth handoffs from sales to Customer Success, Operations, and other teams involved in delivering customer value.
• Help customers expand from foundational HPC into Advanced Modeling & Simulation, Agentic Engineering, and AI Physics opportunities over time. What Will Make You Successful

• 2+ years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, technical consulting, application engineering, technical support, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Experience working with engineering, scientific, simulation, R&D, IT, or software development teams.
• Understanding of high-performance computing, cloud computing, engineering applications, simulation workflows, AI, machine learning, or a related technical domain.
• Experience supporting technical discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, proofs of concept, evaluations, or technical validation.
• Ability to understand customer workflows and translate technical requirements into practical solution recommendations.
• Comfortable working with Salesforce or a similar CRM system, with a disciplined approach to maintaining accurate technical and opportunity records.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, workshop, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities, evaluations, and customer priorities simultaneously.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Fluency in one of the following languages is a strong advantage: Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, or Finnish.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, presentation tools, and modern sales technologies.
• Based in Northern Europe and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the region.
