The university's current notice lists tuition-discount eligibility for this year's Altyn Belgi or excellent-certificate holders and college graduates with distinction, as well as several continuing-student social and achievement categories. Applicants must complete the application form linked from the official notice and attach supporting documents. The current notice does not state one universal discount percentage or amount.

Eligible categories listed by Satbayev University include this year's Altyn Belgi or excellent-certificate holders and college graduates with distinction; orphans and students without parental care with GPA at least 2.5; students with disabilities or specified family disability circumstances with GPA at least 2.5; students from large families with GPA at least 2.5; students from single-parent or other socially vulnerable families with GPA at least 2.5; excellent students with GPA at least 3.0; foreign students with disabilities with GPA at least 2.5; children of university employees with GPA at least 2.5; and qualifying athletes holding Kazakhstan master-of-sport classifications with GPA at least 2.5.
