A fast-track into the world's most innovative hub, through workshops, a private community and networking events held across the cities of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Next Gen Fund.

Where you come from should not decide who gets to attend. The Next Gen Fund backs exceptional candidates who have been admitted and would otherwise not be able to make the trip. It is not a grant to startups, not compensation, and not a guarantee of support: every request is assessed on merit and need, after admission. If you believe you belong here, apply first.

Everything you need to know about the Silicon Valley Fellowship. Can't find your answer? Send us an email. We receive 5000+ applications per year for a limited number of spots. Our acceptance rate is around 5%. Yes. If you are selected but can't make the batch you applied for, you can join the one you prefer among those running in the upcoming year. Let us know as early as you can, since places in each batch are limited. If you are not a US citizen and your country is part of the Visa Waiver Program, you are able to enter the United States for business or tourism without a visa for up to 90 days. Check out eligibility on the ESTA website. If an ESTA does not fit your situation, check out the visas page by the U.S. Embassy. No, the Silicon Valley Fellowship itself does not provide job opportunities and consequent visas, but joining our network will grant you introductions, referrals, exclusive job opportunities, and a platform to talk to mentors and other fellows. The Next Gen Fund exists for exceptional admitted candidates who would otherwise not be able to join, and can cover anything from part to all of what the week involves: your place in the program, flights, and accommodation in San Francisco. The selection process is highly competitive, and evidence of exceptional achievements is a prerequisite. You can apply after your acceptance. Referrals come from the people already in the community: alumni and mentors who know what we look for. Our ambassadors are alumni who stayed close to the Fellowship and are open to being contacted, so reach out to one of them and tell them what you are building. You can find them on the referrals page. A referral carries weight in our process, it does not replace the application. The Fellowship is organized by Gomry, a San Francisco based tech company. We built it because it is the community we had wanted to start for a long time: a reason to keep working closely with mentors who have spent their careers here, and to meet young talent from around the world every batch. This place gave us a lot when we were starting out, and helping new people find their own way into it is the part of the job we care most about.
