State Research Institute Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC) Opportunities

FTMC describes several student internship routes. Mandatory internships form part of a curriculum and use a tripartite agreement. Voluntary internships are initiated by the student and are unpaid under a voluntary work agreement. FTMC also points students to Research Council of Lithuania-funded research internship routes, including two-month summer research projects and research during academic semesters.

The opportunity is aimed at students seeking research experience at FTMC. Students should identify an FTMC scientist and suitable topic in advance; topics can be adapted from FTMC final-thesis topics in physics, chemistry and materials engineering. Requirements for credit-bearing or externally funded tracks depend on the relevant university or funding programme.
