Student Revolving Loan Fund (Barbados) Opportunities

The Student Revolving Loan Fund accepts online student-loan applications for approved study. The current official application portal states applicants can apply for up to BDS 125,000 with a maximum repayment period of 25 years. Financing can support full-time, part-time and online post-secondary/technical, undergraduate, graduate, professional-designation and doctoral programmes, subject to SRLF approval and applicable loan limits, security and documentation requirements. The official FAQ states there is no general application deadline, so applicants should apply early enough to meet their institution's deadlines.

The SRLF is intended for eligible Barbadians. The current FAQ states only citizens of Barbados qualify and generally lists applicants as age 18 to 50, with ministerial approval required for applicants over 50; applicants not yet 18 but who will be 18 by the enrolment date may be eligible. Approval is not automatic and depends on SRLF review, programme eligibility, required documents, financing/security requirements and other current rules.
