UNESCO Chair on Intercultural Competences at Stellenbosch University and Cheikh Anta Diop University Opportunities

The conference runs 12–16 October 2026 at Cheikh Anta Diop University. The contribution call closed on 1 April, but the official conference page continues to invite attendee registration. Because the full-fee deadline passed on 31 August, the official fee sheet now places registrations in the late-fee period: $500 for participants from African countries, $720 for participants from the rest of the world, $450 for presenters from African countries and $670 for other presenters. Students receive a $50 discount, while Stellenbosch University and UCAD participants pay $200. The fee includes a pre-conference workshop, three days of sessions, a Gorée Island trip/tour, welcome dinner, coffee breaks, daily lunch and specified central-hotel conference transport; the 16 October tourist activity is at the participant's own cost.
