United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea Opportunities

Selected fellows undertake research and further study at a participating institution for a minimum of three to six months and a further one to three months of internship with the United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea. Current fellowship conditions provide a monthly stipend, UN-arranged economy travel and health insurance.

Applicants must be from a developing State, be 25–40 years old, have at least five years of relevant work experience, demonstrate ability to undertake advanced academic research and study, and hold a degree in Law, Marine Sciences, Political Science, Ocean Management or technical training in Ocean Management, Administration of Ports or a related discipline.
