University of Auckland / Tower Insurance Opportunities

The 2026 application window opened 6 August and closes 3 September 2026. The scholarship is tenable for one or two semesters and provides up to NZ$20,000 for costs directly related to study, including living expenses that enable study. The current regulations provide either up to NZ$20,000 to one student over two instalments when two semesters remain, or up to NZ$10,000 each to two students with one semester remaining.

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, be enrolled in the Master of Data Science or Master of Professional Studies (Data Science) at the University of Auckland, and have a GPA of at least 6.5 across courses completed so far in the programme, reduced to 6.0 for Māori and eligible Indigenous Pacific applicants. Selection also considers interest in data science, future employment plans, desire for success and community involvement.
