Opportunities from Chevening — Eswatini

Chevening is the UK Government’s international scholarship programme for one-year taught master’s study. Standard funding includes tuition fees, approved economy travel, an arrival allowance, visa application cost, a departure allowance, a monthly living stipend, a travel top-up allowance, and up to £75 toward TB testing where required. The official Eswatini country page confirms that the 2027–2028 round is currently open.

Applicants must satisfy the current Chevening eligibility rules, including eligible citizenship or qualifying residency, a commitment to return to the country of award for at least two years after the scholarship, at least 2,800 hours of eligible work experience acquired after completing the undergraduate degree, and an undergraduate degree that qualifies for UK master’s study and was completed at least two years before the application deadline. Applicants must also apply to three eligible UK master’s courses and meet current programme exclusions and conditions.
