Global Tax Manager

About the Role

CK Funded is hiring an experienced and detail-driven Global Tax Manager based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing and optimizing our international tax strategy, reporting, and compliance. As a high-growth fintech operating across multiple markets, we require a globally-minded, technically strong tax leader who can ensure compliance, reduce risk, and support global scaling.

This role requires someone with excellent academic qualifications, hands-on experience in tax within the trading or fintech industry, and a deep understanding of cross-border taxation, digital finance regulations, and reporting standards.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and digital service taxes across operating jurisdictions
• Design and implement tax-efficient structures that support CK Funded international trading operations
• Monitor and ensure compliance with UAE, UK, African, and other relevant tax authorities
• Oversee and manage tax filings, audits, and relationships with local tax advisors
• Provide internal guidance on withholding tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border payments
• Partner with Finance and Legal teams to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions
• Keep up-to-date with global tax regulations and proactively assess their impact on the business
• Support the development of internal tax policies and documentation for investor readiness
• Report directly to the CFO or Executive Leadership on global tax risk and exposure
• Drive automation and system improvements to streamline tax reporting and accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, or a related field (Internationally accredited institutions preferred)
• Certified Tax Advisor (CTA), CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional tax certification
• Strong knowledge of international tax treaties, BEPS, and OECD guidelines
• Familiarity with digital finance/tax implications, especially for forex, prop firms, and fintechs
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex tax topics to non-tax stakeholders
• Proficiency in tax systems and ERP/finance tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero)

Experience

• 3+ years of proven experience in a tax role within the trading, prop firm, financial services, or fintech space
• Prior experience managing multi-jurisdiction tax compliance is essential
• Demonstrated ability to lead tax audits and interact with global tax authorities
• Experience working within regulated digital finance or cross-border payment environments
• Hands-on exposure to tax planning, optimization, and structuring for international businesses
