Creative Media Authority's Production Internship connects aspiring talent with local and international productions in Abu Dhabi across pre-production, production and post-production. Areas can include camera, art, lighting, sound, make-up and special effects, costumes, editing and color correction. Applications are accepted throughout the year and placements depend on suitable production opportunities and schedules. CMA states that every intern receives an AED 120 daily allowance for days worked on set, paid after the internship. For participants aged 21 and above the minimum on-set day is eight hours; participants under 21 must complete at least six hours on set.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old unless a production requires otherwise, be a UAE citizen or resident, be punctual and flexible with working hours, communicate well and be passionate about the film industry.
