The scholarship can cover tuition and registration fees, learning materials and a modest living stipend, up to ₦500,000 per academic session. The Foundation states that it plans 10 awards per year and that awards are renewable annually subject to satisfactory academic progress, including a minimum 3.5/5.0 CGPA. The 2026 funding window opened on 1 September and closes on 15 October 2026; the official page does not state a universal closing time.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens or residents and be enrolled in or admitted to an accredited Nigerian tertiary institution. Scholarship-track applicants must be undergraduates with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale, or new entrants with UTME 250+ or five O'level credits including English and Mathematics, and must demonstrate financial need.
