Opportunities from Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board Zambia

The Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB) is accepting 2026/27 undergraduate GRZ Student Loan applications for supported Zambian public universities on institution-specific schedules. Current official windows include Copperbelt University closing 30 August 2026, University of Zambia closing 30 September 2026, and Kapasa Makasa University, Zambia University College of Technology and Levy Mwanawasa Medical University closing 30 October 2026. Applicants must use the admission letter for the specific supported institution; loans are non-transferable.

Applicants must be Zambian citizens, be 26 years old or younger, have admission to one of the public higher-education institutions supported by HELSB, and demonstrate genuine financial need.
