Scholarships are available to eligible residents of Arta, Ioannina, Thesprotia and Preveza for recognized higher-education study in humanities and social sciences, mathematics and natural sciences, medicine/biology/life sciences, engineering, and musicology with an emphasis on traditional music. Each scholarship is worth €2,500 for one year and may be renewed under the program conditions.

Applicants must be Greek by descent and permanent residents of Arta, Ioannina, Thesprotia or Preveza, lack sufficient financial resources, and normally study full time. Continuing undergraduates or renewal applicants need a recent academic-year average of at least 8.5; postgraduate applicants need a degree grade of at least 8.5; new entrants need a secondary-school leaving grade of at least 18. Applicants must be available for an interview if requested.
