SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced commercial and technical leader to drive Jotun’s Shipping and Yards, Fabricators & Applicators (YFA) business across the MEIA region. This role combines regional strategy, key account development, sales leadership and capability building to strengthen Jotun’s market position and deliver sustainable, profitable growth in close coordination with country teams across different markets.

This position will be based in Dubai, UAE; and will report to the Regional Protective & Marine Sales Director.

Responsibilities

• Define, lead and implement the regional Shipping, Yards, Fabricators & Applicators (YFA) strategy across MEIA, setting clear priorities, activity plans, resource allocation and aligning execution with country teams and business objectives.
• Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with ship owners, ship managers, yards, fabricators and applicators by understanding customer needs, market dynamics and decision-making processes, positioning Jotun as the preferred regional partner through value-based selling and technical collaboration.
• Drive regional key accounts, strategic projects and cross-border opportunities in collaboration with sales, technical, specification and operations teams to improve win rates, secure project pipelines and deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
• Build and enhance commercial capability across MEIA by identifying competence gaps, coaching country teams, supporting development plans and fostering a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.
• Share customer intelligence and market insights across the region to support innovation, faster decision-making, coordinated execution and stronger commercial performance.
• Leverage deep expertise in the Shipping and YFA business, including tender processes, project dynamics and customer decision-making, while influencing senior customers, internal leaders and key stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and commercial execution.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

What we look for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, Marine & Protective Coatings, or another relevant discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant commercial experience within Shipping, YFA, Marine and Protective Coatings, including regional or multi-country business exposure.
• Proven track record in developing strategic customer relationships and delivering sustainable business growth within complex commercial environments.
• Strong coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams and customers across multiple markets.
