Opportunities from Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG)

The Latin America and Caribbean programme accepts applications from 1 June through 30 September, with the current application page stating a closing time of 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Participating institutions include FLACSO campuses in Honduras and several other Latin American countries. The grant supports higher education; MMEG’s current primary application page does not state a universal award amount, so no amount is asserted here.

Applicants must self-identify as women, be at least 25 years old at the application deadline, be nationals of a country on MMEG’s eligibility list (which includes Honduras), and be registered—not merely accepted—in an eligible in-person programme. For the Latin America programme, applicants must be enrolled at a participating institution such as FLACSO Honduras, in undergraduate, master’s, doctoral or postdoctoral study, and plan to remain enrolled for at least one academic semester after the grant award.
