Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Brand Director to lead the overall development, positioning, and growth of a premium automotive brand within the Egyptian market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the brand strategy, driving market share and sales growth, strengthening the dealer network, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring strong financial and operational performance.

The role requires a senior automotive leader with a strong understanding of premium and luxury automotive brands, particularly the rapidly growing Chinese automotive sector. Experience launching, establishing, repositioning, or developing a Chinese automotive brand in a competitive market will be considered a significant advantage.

Brand Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the overall brand strategy and long-term growth plan for the Egyptian market.
• Establish a clear and differentiated brand positioning within the premium and luxury automotive segment.
• Develop annual and long-term brand plans covering sales, marketing, product, customer experience, dealer development, and profitability.
• Ensure alignment between local brand strategy and OEM/global brand guidelines.
• Lead the overall brand identity and ensure consistent execution across all customer touchpoints.
• Monitor brand awareness, perception, consideration, and market positioning.
• Develop strategies to build brand equity, customer loyalty, and long-term brand value.

Commercial & Sales Performance

• Take overall responsibility for achieving the brand's sales, market share, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Develop commercial strategies covering pricing, product mix, incentives, promotions, and sales channels.
• Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where required.
• Identify opportunities to increase market penetration and expand the customer base.
• Collaborate closely with sales leadership and dealer partners to maximize retail performance.
• Develop strategies to optimize vehicle inventory, sales velocity, margins, and profitability.
• Ensure commercial decisions support both short-term performance and long-term brand positioning.

Dealer Network & Retail Excellence

• Lead the strategic development and performance management of the brand's dealer network.
• Establish dealer performance standards, commercial KPIs, and business plans.
• Monitor showroom performance, lead conversion, test drives, customer experience, and sales productivity.
• Work closely with dealer principals and senior management to address performance gaps.
• Support dealer network expansion and identify opportunities for new locations and strategic partnerships.
• Ensure all dealerships consistently deliver the required premium customer experience and brand standards.

Marketing & Brand Communication

• Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing and communications strategy.
• Oversee brand campaigns, product launches, digital marketing, social media, events, PR, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Ensure all communication reflects the brand's premium positioning and global identity.
• Develop effective customer acquisition and retention strategies.
• Work with marketing teams and agencies to maximize campaign effectiveness and ROI.
• Monitor digital performance, customer engagement, and brand sentiment.
• Build strong brand awareness and consideration among target premium automotive customers.

Customer Experience

• Own the overall customer experience strategy across sales, service, and digital touchpoints.
• Develop initiatives to improve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the customer journey.
• Ensure premium service standards are consistently implemented across the dealer network.
• Collaborate with sales and aftersales teams to strengthen customer retention and loyalty.

Business Development & Market Expansion

• Identify new opportunities for brand growth and market expansion.
• Develop market-entry strategies for new products, segments, and business opportunities.
• Support the launch and establishment of new models and product lines.
• Build strong relationships with OEM leadership, dealers, strategic partners, and key industry stakeholders.
• Represent the brand at major industry, corporate, media, and customer events.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on market opportunities and business performance.

Market & Competitor Intelligence

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Egyptian premium and luxury automotive market.
• Monitor the growth, positioning, pricing, product portfolios, and customer propositions of competing brands.
• Closely track emerging Chinese premium and luxury automotive brands entering and expanding in Egypt.
• Benchmark the brand against established international competitors.
• Translate market intelligence into actionable brand and commercial strategies.
• Provide regular strategic market updates and recommendations to senior management and OEM stakeholders.

Experience

• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior brand leadership, commercial, or general management position.
• Proven experience in brand management, automotive retail, sales strategy, marketing, customer experience, dealer operations, and business development.
• Demonstrated success in developing and growing premium or luxury automotive brands.
• Strong experience managing commercial performance, budgets, profitability, and strategic business objectives.
• Experience working with automotive dealers, distributors, or OEMs is highly desirable.
• Experience with Chinese automotive brands, particularly in brand development, market entry, dealership operations, or representing a Chinese OEM, is highly desirable.
• Experience launching, establishing, repositioning, or developing a new Chinese automotive brand in a competitive market will be a strong advantage.
