Opportunities from Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Marshall Islands to the United Nations

The RMI Mission works with a small group of full-time interns during the active fall United Nations General Assembly period. Interns support policy analysis, UN meeting coverage, research, briefing and reporting. A limited number of part-time placements may be available to locally based students during the year. The Mission states that internships are unpaid and that it can help facilitate academic credit.

Graduate students or recent graduates are preferred. Relevant backgrounds or interests include Pacific regional issues, sustainable development, environmental policy, international law, political affairs and related fields. The Mission also encourages Marshallese college students, recent graduates and young professionals to contact it about opportunities that may depend on funding.
